As part of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia's (WMRR) commitment to delivering high quality, learning events and conferences, we will be hosting the bi-annual 2019 WasteQ Regional Conference in Toowoomba on 15-17 October.

At a time of massive industry change, the conference will focus on the opportunities that change brings for regional Queensland and highlight the innovation already on display.  Join in discussions over organics, the levy, waste strategy, market development, and a wide range of topics impacting the state, and in particular, regional Queensland.  Sessions on Regional Issues & Solutions; Organics; Sustainable Procurement; Best Practice & Innovation; Circular Economy; and Education & Community Engagement, will identify some of the issues the industry faces and look to success stories and lessons learnt, from here and overseas, to accelerate the transition to 2035.

The 2019 WasteQ Conference will be of interest to industry managers, regulators, local government councillors and staff, state and federal government, consultants, service and technology providers, planners, environment managers, academics and engineers.  Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their challenges and ideas, learn from industry experts and network with their industry peers.
