The Tasmanian waste and resource recovery (WARR) sector is gaining momentum with the start of the landfill levy on 1 July, announcement of the Waste and Resource Recovery Board, progress towards the 2023 launch of the container refund scheme 'Recycle Rewards', and continued focus on food waste, organics and infrastructure. 

With registration and morning tea from 10:00am and formalities kicking-off at 10:30am, this day long forum will provide updates, learnings and outcomes from some of these initiatives, what's next for Tasmanian WARR, and explore some of the other alternatives to landfill.  To view a copy of the program click here.

The forum is just one event to look forward to on the day; the WMRR Tasmanian Branch will then host its end-of-year drinks (networking function) at the venue, and all are invited.

• Networking function registration includes entry to the evening networking function only (selection of drinks and canapes provided).
• Full payment is due at time of registration. For any other form of payment contact WMRR National Office to discuss.
• Cancellations must be notified in writing to WMRR at [email protected]. Cancellations received on or prior to the 14 November 2022 will receive a refund less a 20% administration charge. Refunds WILL NOT be issued for cancellations received after 14 November 2022. Substitutions within organisations are welcome without penalty.
