PETER BRISBANE

Head of Government Partnerships
Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO)

As APCO’s Head of Government Partnerships, Peter ensures APCO’s accountability to the Commonwealth and state and territory governments. In 2022-23, Peter led the review of the National Packaging Targets, which highlighted systemic barriers to achieving the targets and ways to overcome them. Over the past twelve months he led the development of APCO’s 2030 Strategic Plan, and is now responsible for implementing key parts of it. Before joining APCO Peter led the Commonwealth’s stewardship and waste policy and programs.
