As a dedicated circular economy and resource recovery specialist, she possesses a profound understanding of sustainable practices and innovative strategies aimed at minimising waste and maximising resource efficiency. With a keen eye for identifying untapped potential in discarded materials, she is committed to driving environmentally conscious solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future. Prior to KPMG, Sophie worked as Head of Circular Economy for Olleco and as Innovation & Recycling Manager for Veolia - both in the UK.

Linda Mitchell

Science, Research and Innovation Manager, Tyre Stewardship Australia

Linda is the Science, Research and Innovation Manager at Tyre Stewardship Australia. She has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sydney and has industry experience working as a scientist for the Commonwealth Government. Her work is providing invaluable support towards market development, life cycle thinking and tyre science. Linda is passionate about science communication and advocating for better outcomes and has been heard talking about tyres at comedy festivals and has even appeared on a Dr Karl podcast.

Patricia completed her Bachelor of Environmental and Sanitation Engineering (Hons) in Brazil and paved her professional career Air Quality Modelling and Assessment and most recently in Carbon Emissions Assessment. Currently, Patricia applies her expertise at Zephyr Environmental in Adelaide to assist clients with their environmental challenges conducting comprehensive air quality assessments, dispersion modelling, carbon management and air quality monitoring data analysis.
