Michaela is the Associate Director, Economic Growth and Sustainability with Green Industries SA.  She has two decades of experience leading sustainability, environmental and biosecurity programs, including leadership for projects, policy reforms and emergency response at senior levels of government.  For the River Murray Flood Clean Up Program Michaela stepped into the Program Director role.

Oliver Lovat

Principal Advisor, Business Sustainability, Green Industries SA

Oliver is a Principal Advisor, Business Sustainability with Green Industries SA. He has over ten years’ experience delivering customer focused solutions for the private and public sectors across areas including working with industry associations and their members to develop informative guides that help lift sector performance in sustainability and circular economy. Oliver gained exposure to Disaster Recovery work through the 2020 Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island bushfire event and has bolstered that experience across over the last 18 months in his role as Program Contract Manager for the River Murray Flood Clean-up Program.

Margaret Kitchin

Executive Branch Manager, ACT NoWaste, ACT Government


Margaret is the Executive Branch Manager of ACT NoWaste, the Branch that runs the waste and recycling services and facilities for ACT Government. Margaret previously led the Strategic Coordination and Planning section, and was one of the senior directors that led the recovery after the ACTs MRF Fire. Prior to moving to waste and recycling, Margaret led projects in the sustainability and environment sector with a short period as the ACTs Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment.
