Sue is Managing Partner of the strategic communications advisory firm, SEC Newgate Australia, and one of Australia’s most sought-after market and social researchers for strategic communications counsel.  

She has close to 30 years’ experience advising corporates on high stakes reputation issues, public policy and regulatory affairs, financial transactions, stakeholder and community engagement. She’s a well-known commentator on the community mood and issues that are most important to Australians, changing community expectations of corporates, and social licence issues.   

Sue holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Communication from Charles Sturt University and a Masters in International Communications from Macquarie University. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), has the IAP2 Certificate of Engagement and is on the board of the Australian Polling Council.
