Associate and Principle Engineer, Waste Sector Leader (APAC)

 

Nigel Ruxton is an Associate, Chartered Professional Engineer and RPEQ with over 17 years' experience in waste management, civil and environmental engineering. He has led multidisciplinary teams on a variety of engineering projects, including landfill development and restoration, contaminated site remediation, engineered dam design and recycling/waste transfer facilities. He has specific experience in the conversion of brownfield sites into landfill and is Golder’s Waste Sector Leader for Asia-Pacific. 

Nigel was the recipient of the AGS Don Douglas Youth Fellowship Award in 2016, and a Golder Global Excellence Award for Client Service and Technical Excellence in 2014. He was the Conference Convenor for the 2019 National Landfill and Transfer Stations Conference and is Vice President of the Australian Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society.
