Gayle Sloan started as CEO of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia in November 2016.  She is a passionate advocate for the sector, determined to have it recognized as the essential industry that it is nationally, ensuring that it is recognized as vital to not just the Australian environment, but also the ensuring the economic and social value of the material we manage is both recognised and realised.

Gayle has a Law/ Arts Degree from the University of Adelaide.  She developed her skills and knowledge about this essential industry, over the previous 15 years, whilst working as a Director at NSW councils and as a manager within Visy Recycling.
