Trevor Distin

Technical & Marketing Manager, Topcoat Asphalt

Trevor joined Colas Australia in 2016 as the Group Technical and Marketing Manager having held a similar role with Colas in Southern Africa. He currently serves on the Austroads Asphalt, Binders and Surfacing’s working groups and Australia Asphalt Pavement Association’s National Technology Leadership Committee and Sustainability committee. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering and Bachelors Degree of Commerce.

Richard Macchiesi

General Manager - Innovation and Corporate Affairs, Visy

Richard Macchiesi has 25 years experience in the FMCG industry across multiple disciplines. He worked in the flavour industry developing strategic new products in Australia before heading to Chicago establishing a new dairy-based technology.   
Richard's career has travelled extensively in Europe and Asia identifying strategic alliances for new businesses, utilising a strong understanding of innovation and technology commercialisation. 

Richard is currently the Executive General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Innovation at Visy working on strategic initiatives that deliver value for his clients and Visy.

Richie Farrell

Head of Investor Relations, Cleanaway

Richie was appointed Head of Investor Relations of Cleanaway in April 2020. In this role, his responsibilities include establishing and expanding the company's relationships with sell-side and buy-side investment analysts, industry analysts, and investors worldwide. He also provides input on the company's financial reporting activities, sustainability reporting, and manages the company’s engagement with proxy advisors, as well as other shareholder relations activities as part of a comprehensive investor relations program.

Prior to that he worked at Infigen Energy as General Manager of Strategy and Corporate Affairs with responsibility for corporate strategy development, investor relations, government relations and corporate communications. Richie has also worked at Origin Energy across a range of business units. Richie has 20 years’ experience working in listed companies primarily in energy markets including roles in systems development, environmental markets trading, strategic and business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate affairs. Richie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Higher Diploma in Systems Analysis from the National University of Ireland, Galway and an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
 

Daniel Bosco

Director, Bluey Technologies

Daniel Bosco is Director and Founder of Bluey Technologies Pty Ltd.  

Daniel has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from The University of Technology Sydney and has also completed post graduate studies in concrete technology and rehabilitation.  Following the completion of his studies, Daniel worked on a number of large infrastructure projects such as Airport Link Tunnel in Sydney, Taiwan High-Speed Rail and many major tunnel projects around Australia over the past 25 years.

In 2003, Daniel started the product supply company Bluey Technologies. Bluey specialises in solving complex engineering problems through applications using latest technologies in polymer, cementitious and resin based products.  

The company has grown rapidly and is now recognised as an important partner to many of our largest construction companies working on major infrastructure projects throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.  

Bluey was recently recognised as one of Australia’s most innovative companies in the annual AFR awards. This reflects the approach the team at Bluey take to bringing new products to market in a challenging and high-risk industry.
