NSW Breakfast with the Minister
The NSW Branch of the Waste Management & Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) is proud to be hosting NSW Minister for the Environment, the Honourable Penny Sharpe MLC, for an industry breakfast in Sydney on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
The event will take place in the historical and light-filled Strangers Room at NSW Parliament House. Come along to network with industry leaders and hear the Minister's plans for the NSW waste and resource recovery sector for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.

Penny Sharpe is the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, Minister for Climate Change, Minister for Energy, Minister for the Environment and Minister for Heritage. First elected to NSW Legislative Council in 2005, Penny has held a variety of Government and Opposition portfolios including Heritage, Transport and Planning, Family and Community Services, as well as Disability Inclusion.
Penny is passionate about the care of our environment and making sure that NSW takes serious action to tackle climate change.
