Australia will reach 80% average resource recovery from all waste streams by 2030
All YPs - that is, if you’re 35 years old and younger, though the young at heart are welcome to attend too - are invited to join us at this free online event where two (2) teams will go head-to-head on whether or not Australia will reach the National Waste Policy target of '80% average resource recovery rate from all waste streams by 2030'.
Following an introduction by our national YPs working group, each team will be given time to present their arguments, cross examine their opponents, and make their final rebuttals. The debate will be moderated by WMRR CEO, Gayle Sloan.
Attendees will then be asked to cast their votes on who they thought delivered the most convincing argument and who their favourite speaker of the evening was.
