Dr. Taku Ide serves as the Head of Carbon for Cleanaway, where he is responsible for setting Cleanaway’s climate aligned targets and supporting business units across the organisation define activities to achieve them. He also helps design climate aligned products and services that are aligned to Cleanaway customers’ climate goals.
Taku has over 17 years of experience in mitigating risks associated with greenhouse gas emissions and has worked closely with global businesses, public sectors, Sovereign Nations and universities to deliver greenhouse gas emissions risk management strategies. He thrives in bridging the gap between leading climate science and meeting commercial requirements. He holds a B.S. in Chemical engineering, and an M.S. and Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering, all from Stanford University.
