Circular Economy Services Leader, Arup

Leanne is Arup’s Circular Economy Services Leader and has a diverse background across recycled and reused materials, circular economy, water recycling and rehabilitation, infrastructure, and social, environmental and cultural sectors. Prior to Arup, Leanne was a Senior Program Manager with ecologiQ - the Victorian Government's award-winning circular economy initiative to optimise the use of recycled and reused materials in transport infrastructure.

Sarah King

Technical Director, Circular Economy, GHD

Dr Sarah King has 25 years’ experience in circular economy (CE), recycling, innovation, policy development, corporate sustainability management, and sustainable industry transition. Sarah invented Australia’s first; matchmaking marketplace ‘ASPIRE’, national CE roadmap and trial of recycling disposable nappies using anaerobic digestion. Other projects include wood waste circular ecosystems, circular economy precincts and circular economy strategy for local government.

'Yvette has two decades of service in the waste and resource recovery sector driving strategic solutions in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions of NSW. Yvette has led teams and worked closely with stakeholders to implement impactful projects. These include strategic emergency waste management planning, a comprehensive benchmarking study of kerbside hard waste across NSW councils, and innovative resource recovery initiatives.

Stewart is a property industry leader is sustainability master planning, place design, and circular economy.  Based in Sydney, Stewart has developed circular economy strategies for buildings and precincts across Australia and overseas, including the Central Station Precinct Redevelopment and Bays West Precinct Development in Sydney, Broadmeadow precinct in Newcastle, and Bluescope’s Port Kembla industrial lands transformation.  Stewart is active with the NSW Circular Economy industry group and the property industry’s MECLA consortium.
