James Moverley
Circular Economy Project Lead, Barwon Water
James has worked in the resource recovery sector in both the UK and Australia. In Manchester, England, he worked for an innovative shredder floc recycling company, diverting shredder floc from landfill and separating into its constituent materials including various grades of metals and polymers. Since arriving in Australia in 2015, James has worked in various roles in the sector, initially as a consultant supporting clients developing their waste management strategies, performing audits on various waste streams and completing feasibility studies on organic waste services. James then delivered various projects, including organics facilities, general waste transfer stations and landfill gas programs as part of the projects team at some of Australia’s largest waste firms. James has been with Barwon Water in the Circular Economy team since 2021, supporting the region in their transition to a circular economy on projects like the Regional Renewable Organics Network and other initiatives.
