Michelle is Principal Adviser Regulatory Strategy & Intelligence within the Circular Economy & Waste Branch of the South Australian Environment Protection Authority (EPA). Michelle has worked at the EPA for 15 years primarily in the area of legislation and policy development, with a focus on circular economy and waste management. She is currently responsible for overseeing the EPA’s waste levy collection, waste depot mass balance reporting, intelligence analysis and waste policy functions. 

Michelle holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Economics and a Master of Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Adelaide, having completed her dissertation on policy options to reduce plastic marine debris in South Australia..
