ALANA POTTS

Project Officer – Plastics and Packaging,
Green Industries SA

In her role as project officer in the policy team at Green Industries SA, Alana has worked closely with colleagues and key stakeholders to develop and implement South Australia’s Single-use and Other Plastic Products (Waste Avoidance) Act. She provides research and project support in relation to single-use plastics and packaging policy and is the lead contact for public enquiries relating to the legislation. 

Alana has a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of South Australia. Her final year thesis focused on takeaway coffee culture and the resulting dilemma of coffee cup pollution.
