Alasdair Wells is the Manager of the Waste Policy and Programs area of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania. He’s been in Government policy roles for nearly 20 years, covering issues including primary industries, food, NRM and climate change. For the last few years, Alasdair has had a particular focus on waste and resource recovery, leading the delivery of the Waste Action Plan in 2019, and now on the Waste and Resource Recovery agenda that has just passed through Parliament.
