PAUL JACKSON

Chief Executive Officer
Southern Tasmanian Regional Waste Authority 

Paul is the inaugural CEO of the Southern Tasmanian Regional Waste Authority and commenced in this role in April 2023.  Prior to that, Paul spent 18 years at the City of Hobart starting out as a legal student and progressing to the Manager Legal and Governance.  Paul was also the state President of Local Government Professionals Tasmania.

This is a new and exciting opportunity and Paul intends to draw on his local government experience to work closely with councils and industry stakeholders on how we deal with waste – one of the most significant challenges of our generation.
