TONY CIRCELLI
Head, Recycling Victoria
Tony has significant knowledge and experience in regulatory science and building better regulatory practice into environmental policy and operations, with over 30 years of experience in Government and Private sector.
Tony has held over 20 years of senior executive positions with the South Australian EPA, including over eight years as Chief Executive.
He has led national and state policy development, and implemented major reforms for the State’s billion dollar resource recovery sector.
More recently he led through the national Head’s EPA forum to develop principles for waste to energy activities, and driving national consistency and reform for container deposit systems.
Tony commenced as Head, Recycling Victoria in October 2022, and is committed to driving Victoria’s national and international leadership in this sector, towards a more sustainable and prosperous future.
