In 30 years Mike has implemented many leading edge resource recovery and recycling projects and being invited by Green Industries SA to lead the clean up team for the Adelaide Hills Bushfires is the pinnacle of his business life.

Angus Mitchell

Project Manager, SA Bushfire Debris Clean-up, Green Industries SA

Angus Mitchell is currently the Project Manager for South Australia's bushfire debris clean-up with responsibility for managing the clean up over 500 bushfire affected properties across Kangaroo Island, the Adelaide Hills, Yorke Peninsula and the South East. He is an economist, with broad State Government project management experience that includes helping introduce South Australia’s network of marine parks, promoting tourism in national parks and coordinating business planning and management process for the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

As a qualified marine scientist I worked briefly as a lecturer and research and development manager in the private sector early in my career. I transitioned to the public sector where I honed my skills in the area of environmental risk assessment and more recently in the area of regulation, investigations and incident/ emergency management.
