Shane Raymond

Manager, Corporate Services, East Waste

As Manager Corporate Services, Shane is responsible for developing and implementing systems and infrastructure required to support the governance, operations, growth and financial security of East Waste. Shane oversees the Customer Service and WHS functions at East Waste, together with leading contract management and procurement activities. Shane has 20 years’ experience working within regulatory environments, with the last six years working within the waste and local government environments. 

 

Megan Bekesi

Education and Promotions Coordinator, East Waste

Megan Bekesi has a Bachelor Degree in Natural Resource Management and has worked in various environmental consulting, education and community engagement roles.  As Education and Promotions Coordinator at East Waste her key achievements include the development and delivery of the ‘Why waste it?’ education and promotion campaign within East Waste’s seven Member Council areas, and the development of the whichbin.com.au website, resources and comprehensive A-Z directory which has recently been adopted by Green Industries SA as the new state-wide education campaign.

Ali Roush

Resource Recovery Education Officer, KESAB

Ali Roush has been an Education Officer for KESAB environmental solutions since 2017. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation, with Honours in Environmental Management. Ali is passionate about the role of education in promoting sustainability. Through her role she works primarily delivering school education and support, community engagement programs and business consultancy.

Cam Wilson

Store Services Manager, Frewville Foodland

Cam Wilson is the Store Services Manager at Frewville Foodland, and has been heavily involved in implementing the Waste Management Plan in collaboration with KESAB environmental solutions. In this role he has been a driver for developing a culture of being mindful and effective in maximising the diversion of recyclable and organic material from landfill. 

Matt Scales

Manager Communications, Media & Digital, Green Industries SA

Matt manages communication, media and digital engagement at GISA, working closely with the community, councils, businesses and the waste and recycling industry on a daily basis for the last 12 years. He is the lead for the South Australian Government’s statewide recycling and education program, ‘Which Bin?’ focusing on the cutting edge development and delivery of campaign and communications materials.

Anne Sharp 

Associate Professor, Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, University of South Australia

Anne is a Senior Marketing Scientist with the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute at UniSA. All Anne's work has the common theme of applying marketing science knowledge to sustainable marketing. Anne has published over refereed 60 academic papers and book chapters. She helps organisations understand human behaviour around sustainability so they can develop and market better products, ideas, campaigns and engagement strategies.
